About Detroit Dumpster Co

A Detroit company with its own trucks and its own phone line
The people on this page are the people you deal with. Paul runs operations and the trucks, John keeps the containers clean and roadworthy, Sara plans every delivery and pickup across Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties, and Tania takes your call, sizes the job with you and gives you a flat price before you hang up. When the office is closed the calls still come to us, not to a call center.
We quote one flat price that includes delivery, the rental period, pickup and a disposal weight allowance, and we say so before the truck rolls. We also know the local rules, from Detroit’s right-of-way permit that the hauler has to hold to Dearborn’s seven-day container rule and the five different Grosse Pointe codes, and we tell you what applies to your address before we deliver.

Where our loads go
Every load we haul goes to a permitted facility: the transfer stations on the east side and Downriver for renovation and demolition waste, the regional landfills at Carleton Farms, Woodland Meadows and Sauk Trail Hills, and composting sites for clean yard waste, which Michigan keeps out of landfills by law. Material the state bars from landfills, such as whole tires, lead-acid batteries, used oil, liquids, refrigerant appliances and asbestos, is routed to the right outlet rather than buried; our blog lists them.
We serve Detroit and the towns around it: Detroit, Hamtramck, Highland Park, Dearborn, Warren, Ferndale, Royal Oak, Southfield, Grosse Pointe, Livonia, Sterling Heights, Taylor.
